This class is for you if…
You’re a first time parent and want to feel confident & prepared.

You’re open to training your mindset through the course of your pregnancy.
-
Yes. First-time parents often benefit the most because this work reduces fear and builds confidence from the beginning. You’ve already been trained since childhood that birth is always painful, difficult, and rarely goes well. GentleBirth gives you a new framework.
Everything is taught in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. -
No course can guarantee a pain-free birth.
Pain is a normal communication tool in labor. It is not something we need to fear or avoid, nor is it a symptom of failing to hypnobirth “properly.”
What this class does is change how your subconscious brain thinks of birth. This is how that can play out in simple words.
When a mom who hasn’t used brain training first has contractions her subconscious brain thinks “oh crap, this is that birth thing we’ve been hearing about. I remember those Grey’s anatomy clips - this is BAD. Send lots of pain signals so she gets help ASAP.”
Meanwhile the GentleBirth mom who has been preparing daily for her birth gets the same signals, and her brain thinks “it’s finally happening! I’m finally getting to meet my baby. I’m so excited to face this challenge.” She is not in any perceived danger, and therefore does not experience the same level of pain. -
Yes! Partners are strongly encouraged to attend. They’ll learn exactly how to support you physically and mentally during labor so they feel confident too.
-
Yes! GentleBirth supports all types of births. These tools help you stay calm, make clear decisions, and feel more in control no matter how your birth unfolds.
GentleBirth includes tracks for unexpected changes in labor, epidural placement, induction of labor and many more.
My goal as an instructor is that you feel calm and confident in handing no matter what is thrown your way - whether it be unexpected intervention OR a quick birth in the car on your way in. -
ASAP!
While standard birth education classes are better closer to the birth so you remember the information - GentleBirth is a mental fitness program.
Just like if you were getting your body into shape - the more you train the better your results. I recommend taking a class as soon as you can.
With that said, it’s never too late to incorporate brain training - studies show an improvement in confidence after only 10 days of use! -
Your workshop includes 8 hours of instruction for you and your birth partner, one month free access to GentleBirth premium, and online access to the GentleBirth institute so you can refer back to materials through your pregnancy.

Traditional birth classes focus on educating on stages of labor, and giving coping tools once you get there.
While we will build a toolkit full of coping strategies, we go deeper. GentleBirth focuses on changing the way you respond to labor long before it begins.
Think of it like this : Instead of giving you lots of coping techniques to move through an anxiety attack, I’m going to teach you proven techniques to stop the anxiety attack from ever happening.
