The Balanced Birth Method

A structured, step-by-step approach that supports you physically, mentally, and emotionally from pregnancy through postpartum

Instead of trying to learn everything in a few overwhelming conversations, you’re guided through your pregnancy in focused sessions that build on each other.

Most clients receive 6 prenatal sessions, giving you the time and space to actually understand, practice, and feel ready.

Our Process

The Balanced Birth Advantage

  • Care is flexible to meet your needs.

    • 6–7 prenatal sessions (in-office or virtual)
    • Continuous support during labor and birth
    • Postpartum visits focused on recovery, feeding, and adjustment
    • Ongoing support throughout pregnancy

Sessions are spaced out based on your stage of pregnancy so you’re getting the right support at the right time.

  • This approach allows us to go deeper, not just meet.

You’re not expected to absorb everything at once.
You build confidence gradually, with time to practice and integrate what you learn.

Clients who go through this process often:
    • Feel significantly less anxious going into labor
    • Understand what’s happening in their body
    • Feel confident making decisions in the moment
    • Have partners who feel prepared and involved
    • Enter postpartum with realistic expectations and support

  • Support doesn’t stop at birth.

Postpartum care is focused on what actually matters in those early weeks:
    • Feeding support (including breastfeeding guidance)
    • Maternal recovery
    • Emotional and mental health support
    • Newborn care and adjustment

Shorter, flexible visits allow for consistent support when you need it most.

  • Balanced Birth Co is designed to be accessible and fully covered for families using insurance.

I am in-network with all state Medicaid plans, which means your doula care package is typically covered in full with no out-of-pocket cost to you. This includes your prenatal education, labor support, and postpartum care.

I also work with Pomelo Care, allowing additional coverage options for eligible families.

For those using private funds, I accept HSA cards and offer flexible payment plans to make care manageable and accessible..
